My Dream Destination: Top 10 Places to Visit in Thailand

Top 10 Places – Must Visit In Thailand Tour Packages For 2025

I’m a tourism student and intern at Eden Tours, one of the Best Philippine Travel Agency, so I have beautiful destinations, tour construction and the opportunity to let people experience the world on a daily basis. But one country lives rent-free in my imagination: Thailand which provides Thailand Tour Packages.

Though I’ve never been (yet!), as if it were a dream I keep coming back to — with each stunning photo I see and every guest itinerary I help arrange during my 3rd year College experience. So, I wanted to share with you my dream list of the Top 10 Places to Visit in Thailand Tour Packages— all to inspire your next Eden Tours adventure (Note that I have drawn this from our actual Eden Tours itineraries!).

Whether you’re plotting a trip for someday or just pinning your hopes like me, I hope it inspires you to hop in your suitcase (or at least do a trial run of your bag).

1.  Wat Traimit – The Secret Gold

Begin the day in Bangkok and, after breakfast at the hotel, visualize an early pickup for your first temple stop, Wat Traimit, which contains the world’s largest solid gold Buddha. What is even more compelling is the backstory: This 5.5-ton statue was buried in plaster for almost two centuries and discovered in its original form by chance in 1955.

And the story is a lovely reminder that beauty and value often lie hidden — an idea that resonates with me, especially as a person working in tourism, introducing travelers to hidden gems.

2.  Wat Pho – The Reclining Buddha & The Temple of Massage

As a wellness and culture enthusiast, Wat Pho is somewhere near the top of my bucket list. Here you’ll also meet the enormous 46-meter-long reclining Buddha, radiating tranquility and grace. It’s also the home of traditional Thai massage — making it both a spiritually and physically healing place.

If that’s not enough, Eden Tours (which I absolutely recommended — as one of the best travel agency in Philippines) will allow you to explore the peaceful temple for realizing how everything looks, and maybe even give you a quick massage after all that wisdom.

3.  The Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew – The Royalty

Can we even talk about royal vibes? The Grand Palace in Bangkok, without a doubt, is one of the most sparkling attractions in Thailand. With its complex golden rooftops

and glorious blend of Thai and European architecture, it’s a history book come to life— just one that sparkles!

Within the complex is the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), one of the most sacred places in Thailand. I’ve heard that you have to have on long pants and sleeves to enter — which does honestly add to the reverence and respect of the visit. I already know which outfit I would pack for this sacred site!

4.  Damnoen Saduak Floating Market – The Real Thailand

No visit to Thailand would be complete without a floating market. One of the most famous, Damnoen Saduak in Ratchaburi, where just the thought of boat vendors selling fresh mangoes, coconuts and Thai snacks makes my foodie heart go boom.

It’s the sort of destination you might glimpse on postcards — but Eden Tours brings it to life. An added bonus for all our Best Philippines Tour Packages including cross- country Southeast Asia tours.

5.  Flooded Maeklong Railway Market – Thrills and Chills

No other market is like this one. The Maeklong Railway Market (or Talad Rom Hoop) appears to be a normal market… until a train comes through and the entire place clears out in seconds! It’s thrilling to watch videos of vendors quickly folding back their umbrellas and displays before the train zooms past. This is one of the most places I am really curious about.

If you’re a fan of quirky, fun, and truly local things — like me — this is worth going to. And it’s right along the route in various Philippines tour packages, which explore Thailand Tour Packages and the neighboring gems.

6.  Wat Arun – Getting Up with the sun

It is decorated in porcelain and seashell: the spires reflect the morning sun in such a magical way.

I want to catch sunrise here, to breathe in, and just be free. If you choose Eden Tours, the best travel agency in Philippines, we’ll set up you with one amazing Thailand journey that includes this spiritual stop.

7.  Ayutthaya Historical Park — The Ancient Heart of Thailand Tour Packages

If you’re a history lover like me, Ayutthaya is a dream. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, and once the capital of Siam, it’s populated with weather-beaten ruins, ancient temples and statues that speak stories from centuries past.

Some must-see stops include:

  • Wat Mahathat – site of the Buddha’s head entwined in wildlife
  • Wat Phra Si Sanphet – a temple for royal kings
  • Explain Wat Lokaya Sutharam – which has a giant 42-meter reclining Buddha

It’s a lovely mix of spiritual and historical and can be easily added to many of our Best Philippines Tour Packages.

8.  Coral Island (Koh Larn) – My Beach Escape

Blue skies, White sands, and Gentle waves, is that something you also dreamed of? Coral Island was perfect destination because it is a paradise for me. When I finally make it to Thailand, I will spend one afternoon swimming, sunbathing and drinking fresh coconut juice directly on the beach.

Pattaya is the closest mainland to Coral Island and a more leisurely visit is possible with Eden Tours as part of our extension Thailand Tour Packages — which combine nicely together with our philippines tour packages if you’re looking for a longer idyllic tropical experience.

9.  Nong Nooch Tropical Garden — Nature Meets Culture

Like The Mysterious Island previously, Nong Nooch feels at times like a living museum — with botanical gardens, Thai cultural shows, elephant shows and Instagram-worthy nooks and crannies to be found virtually everywhere. It’s also Southeast Asia’s largest botanical garden, making it a haven for nature lovers like me.

If you’re traveling with family or are seeking something educational but fun, this is an utter gem. I’d definitely add this to our Best Philippines Tour Packages crossover edition!

10.  Discover Pattaya – Temples and Beaches

Speaking of temples and beaches, the latter don’t feature strongly on my typical itineraries, but I couldn’t help but feel curious about Pattaya’s infamous nightlife. Brilliant lights, pounding crowds, live music — it’s a place that presents a divergent view of Thailand: bold, energetic and richly flavored.

I would love nothing more than to feel the buzz and have some street food, even just for a night, and to soak in the city once it’s dark.

Final Thoughts

But even without having stepped foot in Thailand myself yet, already a part of my heart feels as if it resides there. From temple quiet to market bustle, ancient ruins to beach paradise, Thailand is the type of destination that promises a little of everything— and keeps you hungry for more.

As an Eden Tours intern, I’ve seen how our curated philippines tour packages present the opportunity for even more. So, if you’re thinking an amalgamation of Thailand with our Best Philippines Tour Packages or with our exclusive Southeast Asia tour plans, something magical awaits you.

So here’s to dreaming, to planning, to flying eventually. Thailand, I’ll see you soon!
